Saint Antonina  | | During a time of persecutions against Christians, the virgin Antonina was sent by the governor to a house of prostitution. An Angel of God sent Alexander, a soldier who did not know Antonina, to rescue her. They exchanged clothes and she made her escape. When they were caught, they were tortured and killed, but Antonina died still a virgin. | | Saint Antonina died on May 3, 313 A.D. | | We honor this Holy Virgin Martyr on June 10. | | Holy Virgin Antonina, pray that we may always find the way of escape from both the violence of others and our own temptations.
