We had taken perhaps a hundred photos of the azaleas last spring.  They were particularly stunning that year.  However, an accident with the delete button during transfer of the pictures to the computer erased them all.

A week later, one of the Sisters had to be away from school for a doctor's appointment and used the chance to race back to the monastery to see what was left of the azaleas.  Not much.  But, the pink peonies were absolutely lovely (and the doctor had only good news.)
